IT IS TIME! I’ve been accumulating all the things for my patio and drawing up plans like a mad woman for this One Room Challenge. I’m transforming my patio into an awesome outdoor space for us to entertain and spend time in this summer and fall. On a budget obviously. Its always been a dream of mine and I decided I could have it even though we live in a rental. Some may say its not necessarily a room but I beg to differ. I plan and prep the space just like I would any other design project. Over the next 8 weeks I’ll be doing weekly blog posts and tutorials and you can also follow along on my Instagram for more details on the entire process.

INSPIRATION
I really wanted a classic with a little modern feel. These are the spaces that I loved and kept coming back to.
Here is my design board for the entire space. This patio is going to be packed but in the best possible and functional way. I am starting out with an existing sofa that we are working around and I’m kinda loving how its turned out. Bringing in a mix of curated planters is my dream. I also have a huge AC unit and window well we are going to be disguising that take up a big square footage of the already small patio. Making it low maintenance and kid friendly were also really important to me.
